Description

Water, or sometimes gangajal, used to bathe the gods, becomes 'charnamrit' or holy water which is then spooned out to devotees to drink as a blessed 'prasad' or offering.
This intricately engraved set of copper vessels contain a small 'thal' or place to hold the cup which is filled with 'gangajal' or holy water.
An ornamental spoon to ladle out the precious water completes this beautiful set.
Maintenance: Wash with mild detergent and water using a soft scrub, to keep the enamel work looking bright and colorful.

These sounds help to drown any inauspicious or disturbing noises and comments that might disrupt the worshippers in their concentration and inner peace.
The brass temple bell is used for ’puja’ in traditional hindu prayer.
It forms a very important element of the ’aarti’.
